Signal Simulation
Simulation is an absolutely essential component of any project. It allows the proof of feasibility of any design before the components are purchased to build prototypes.
Simulation also allows theoretical proof that certain system parameters such as S/N, BER etc can be achieved. It allows "what if?' scenarios to be tested for different system conditions.
Simulation is done using powerful Open Source Software such as Scilab, ScicosLab + Modnum Toolbox, and LTspice.
